I think this was a flamingo but MAN was it crazy looking....Here's a closer crop detail of the bird the lady is taking a picture of. I was on a bus so I couldn't get closer but I bet HER shots were fantastic.
Actually apparently only like 30% of the flamingos at the park are owned by San Diego Zoo? The others stop in on their way to somewhere else and find out they get free food and lodging and therefore many of them stay! Tourists.
